4,6% of school graduates failed unified state exam in mathematics in Penza region

Penza, 16 June 2014. PenzaNews. 286 graduates of the Penza region, or 4,6% of the total, failed to get the minimum threshold of 20 points in the unified state exam (USE) in mathematics.

“Seven of them are graduates of previous years,” the press service of the Ministry of Education in the region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry clarified that the average score on the exam in mathematics in the region amounted to 45,3.

“The minimum score in the English language was 20, while the average in the region — 62 points. In Physics, the students were required to get minimum 62 points, the average for the Penza region amounted to 41,9” the press service informed.
