Penza student included in national team “WorldSkills Russia”

Penza, 25 June 2014. PenzaNews. Student of Penza College of food industry and commerce Diana Akchurina was included in the national team “WorldSkills Russia” for participation in international competitions in 2015 in “Cookery business” division.
As the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews,” “WorldSkills” is a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and compare standards of competence for trades in various sectors of economy, development of cooperation aimed at achieving the highest standards of professional education and training for young people aged 17 to 22 years.
“For more than 60 years, students around the world participate in professional competitions within this movement. To improve the quality of training and qualifications, popularization of working professions, building motivation for professional self-determination, personal and professional growth, increased use of competition as a tool to enhance the competitiveness of graduates, the Penza region entered WorldSkills Russia in 2013,” the press service of the ministry said.
