As the manager of the center of implementation of youth initiatives autonomous public institution “Multifunctional Youth Center of the Penza region” Marina Sivyakova, over two thousand people from all regions of the Volga Federal District and 150 students from the People's Republic of China took part in the forum.

“Every forum participant defended the project in one of directions: “Innovation and Technical Creativity,” “You are entrepreneur,” “Technology of good,” “Politics and student self-government,” “Information flow,” “Run with me,” “ART Square,” “Agriculture,” and “Small Towns — great opportunities,” the agency interlocutor said.

According to her, within 10 days, the participants from 14 regions of the Volga Federal District took educational and entertainment programs, met with representatives of government, business, art, philanthropy and sports.

“But the most important thing that young people came here for is an opportunity to receive grant support for their projects. Non-commercial “Fund for promotion of the development of civil society in the Volga Federal District” prepared a prize fund of eight million rubles. Competition for financial support was acute: the young people submitted 1,622 projects. During six days the young people tried to prove to the experts why their projects are worthy of funding. 326 projects were admitted to the federal stage. After that the evaluation and screening continued. As a result, 40 projects received grants,” Marina Sivyakova said.

The Penza region also won prizes.

“The projects of the following students received support: Lilia Panyushkina “Device for diagnosis of gallstone disease” (participation in the forum “Open Innovations in Moscow”), Alexander Emelyanov “Automated workplace verification of PSUs” (free schooling in innovation MIPT), Alexandra Ryabchikova and Alexander Makarov “Zdorovyak” [Big Guy] (150-thousand-ruble grant),” the agency interlocutor said.
