Penza, 2 July 2014. PenzaNews. Interagency raid to identify and assist those engaged in begging and vagrancy, was held in Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza on Wednesday, July 2.

As the city social management told news agency “PenzaNews,” social work specialists of “Penza city complex center of emergency social assistance” and a specialist in social work of the Center for social assistance to families and children of Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza took part in the raid.

“During the raid, we worked in the areas of concentration of people engaged in begging and vagrancy: Chekhova, Dzerzhinskogo, Lunacharskogo, Bakunina streets, the central market area, as well as Clara Zetkin Street,” the management noted.

The ministry said that during the raid they found two people engaged in begging and vagrancy, who received food parcels.
