All Penza region apartment buildings be equipped by Rostelekom optics in 2014

Penza, 15 July 2014. PenzaNews. All apartment buildings of the Penza region will be included into the Rostelecom fiber-optic network by the end of 2014, said Lev Dyatlov, director of Penza branch of JSC Rostelekom.
He told news agency PenzaNews that the company completed construction of communication channels by FTTB technology (“fiber to the building”) in six villages of the Penza region as a part of the multiservice network development program.
“As a result, fiber-optic network appeared in 52 apartment buildings in the settlement of Beryozovaya Roshcha and Lenino, Ermolovka, Kostantinovka, Michurino and Voskresenovka villages. Currently, we are in the process of constructing communication networks in Bolshaya Elan, Nadezhdino, Staraya Kamenka and the Leonidovka military camp,” the agency interlocutor commented.
According to him, Rostelecom increases its investments and expands its targeted fiber-optic network construction program each year.
“Its boundaries extended by a few dozen kilometers over the last few years,” Lev Dyatlov said.
Discussing the demand for Rostelecom services in the territories around Penza, he noted that many new apartment buildings have been built as part of the developing housing industry.
“For example, inhabitants of the newly-built ‘Lukomorye’ residential estate are already making use of the modern telecommunication services,” the Rostelecom Penza branch director added.
He reminded that the FTTB data network makes it possible to provide the users with a full range of telecommunication services.
