Penza, 23 July 2014. PenzaNews. Up to 1,700 citizens of Ukraine arrived in the Penza region since the beginning of 2014, said Elena Stolyarova, Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the region, during an extended meeting on refugees' employment, held on Wednesday, July 23.

“More than 700 people came after the outbreak of military operations in the south-east of the country in June,” she explained.
According to Elena Stolyarova, based on the latest data, 1800 more Ukrainian people will be able to come to the Penza region by the end of this year.
She reminded that the group of over 100 people arrived from the Rostov region on Penza EMERCOM aircraft last Tuesday, July 22, who were placed in the Kirov sanatorium.
“The next group of people will be lodged in the “Yunost” [Youth] summer camp. There is everything needed for residence — an autonomous boiler, power supply and medical center,” the minister summarized.
