Penza region residents owe nearly 3 bln rubles to banks

Penza, 1 August 2014. PenzaNews. Loan debts with of the residents of the Penza region amounted to 2835 mln rubles, said Kseniya Pivovarova, the chief expert in media relations of the regional administration of Federal service of judicial bailiffs, to news agency PenzaNews on Friday, August 1.

“Since 2014, the bailiffs have completed more than 3 thousand cases for the recovery of debts from individuals in favor of credit institutions. They collected almost 512 mln rubles. Only 507 people could voluntarily pay for their loans, which is over 31 mln rubles,” the agency interlocutor explained.
She explained that the rest of the debtors were subjected to such compulsory measures as seizure of property, bank account arrest and restriction of travel outside the Russian Federation.
“The easiest way not to be among this group of debtors is to realistically evaluate creditworthiness and be more reasonable when obtaining loans,” Kseniya Pivovarova noted.
