50 masons and 28 plasterers took part in artisan competition

Penza, 5 August 2014. PenzaNews. 50 masons and 28 plasterers are taking part in the regional artisan competition which began in “Rameev” high technology park in Penza on Tuesday, August 5.

The event is held in memory of Viktor Ushakov, The Honored Builder of Russia, holder of two Orders of Lenin and the winner of the State Prize of the USSR, and Egor Ananyin, the hero of socialist labor who contributed greatly to the prosperity of the region.
Welcoming the participants of the competition, the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev said that it is they who set the pace for the development of construction industry.
“We all see how the building industry is improving, advanced technologies are being introduced, building materials production is increasing. For example, when “Asia Cement” begins its operations, it will allow the Penza region become the leader in cement production in Russia by 2020,” head of the region said.
According to the competition terms and conditions, the winner will receive a cash prize of 60 thousand rubles, while the second and third place prizes are set at 40 and 20 thousand rubles respectively, the press service of the regional government reported.
