Penza, 5 August 2014. PenzaNews. The head of Zarechny city in the Penza region will work on a freelance pro bono basis. This decision was made by the deputies of the local assembly of representatives during an extraordinary session on Tuesday, August 5.

According to Oleg Zhuravlev, deputy chief of “Legal Department” municipal institution, the changes will affect the future head of the city, whose name will be known after September 14, 2014, when the new representative assembly of Zarechny is elected.

He told news agency PenzaNews that the head of the city will therefore be able to engage in commercial activities.

“However, in the case of conflict his personal and governing interests, he will be required to abstain from the decision-making,” the agency interlocutor noted.

Vasily Adaev, aged 57, the previous head of Zarechny city of the Penza region, died suddenly on September 3, 2012.

Currently, Oleg Klimanov is performing the duties of the acting head of the city. According to “Legal Department,” he is working on a pro bono basis.
