They traveled by plane to Saratov, and then took the bus back home.

Children from camp “Chayka” were met by their parents and officials on the square at the regional philharmonic hall.

According to Evgeny Troshin, deputy minister of labor, social protection and demography of the region, the Crimea summer vacation federal program is designed for children from troubled families.

“Everyone enjoyed it, positive emotions all around. Teenagers want to go there again. Parents are also happy because the trip is funded by the federal government, they carry no financial burden. The only thing they needed to do was pack their children’s bags,” the agency interlocutor said.

He added that the second group of children from the Penza region went to the Crimea on Wednesday, August 6.

“350 people will be involved in the program as a whole,” the deputy minister concluded.
