Penza, 12 August 2014. PenzaNews. Consecration of the new bells for the chapel belfry was held in the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Issa village, Penza region.

According to Alexei Molebnov, assistant senior priest for youth work of the Chapel of the Transfiguration, the rite of consecration was conducted by Archpriest Evgeny Kostin, dean of Issinsky area.

“Five bells, from 10 to 100 kg, were cast in Voronezh. They were bought thanks to donations of Issa residents,” the agency interlocutor said.

He added that after the consecration, everyone present could ring the bells.
