Head of Penza Yuri Alpatov and other deputies visited the facilities of “Industrial Construction” in Shuist neighborhood.

They also reviewed the documentation. According to the files, five 3-storey buildings with a total area of 9 904 sq. m. should be built by this autumn. 272 families will receive flats in each house.

The deputies confirmed that the construction is currently slightly ahead of schedule. It is expected that the houses will be complete by the end of September.

Also, the members of the working group expressed some complains, which the company will eliminate as soon as possible.

As noted by Yuri Alpatov, the housing of the resettlement program should be of high quality, since it involved large investments.

Another object visited by the working group of Penza City Duma was Maxima Gorkovo street, where the pipeline replacement work is still underway.

In a conversation with a contractor representative, the City Duma members expressed their concern over repair schedule, which have been adjusted several times, putting Penza residents at a disadvantage, as the street is closed to traffic.

However, mayor Yuri Alpatov stressed that it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of work.

“Unless all the work is complete, the street can’t be open,” he said.

Yuri Alpatov said that the city government is acting in the interests of people, which is why the residents should address the temporary inconvenience with understanding, since it is conducted in order to close the issue in the years to come.

“We hope that by the end of the week, the street will open,” he concluded.
