Penza, 13 August 2014. PenzaNews. Management of one of the salons of wedding and evening fashion, located in Moskovskaya Street in Penza, was accused of discrimination against people willing to take job in this organization.

Prosecutors office was attracted by the Internet advertisement stating that the company requires a sales person of 20-25 years of age.

“This ad discriminates against the age of the candidates. During the verification, the general director of the salon admitted her guilt. The woman explained that such an advertisement was made because of her ignorance of the current legislation,” Yuliya Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the region, told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She said that in relation to the head of the salon, administrative proceedings under Art. 13.11.1 of the Administrative Code “Dissemination of information about vacancies containing discriminatory restrictions” were instituted.

“In addition, the general director is instructed to eliminate the violations,” the agency interlocutor added.
