“Out of 30 thousand tons of sand-salt mixture and 26 thousand tons of sand, almost nothing was prepared. It concerns ‘Penzadormost’ and SMUP ‘Master.’ As for the reagents — nothing. Please, decide on the price, calculate it. Do not wait until it snows and the city is paralyzed. Usually we have first cold snaps in November. Only two months left. You need to buy everything needed. The problem is quite serious. We had met it more than once,” Yuri Alpatov said during the meeting of the Standing Committee of the City Duma on housing, utilities, landscaping and ecology on Thursday, August 14.

He also drew attention to a few points related to the preparation of the city for the heating season.

“Departmental housing is less than 50% ready for the winter period. What perspective do we have? What measures do we take? And what will it mean for the residents? The next issue is furnace repairs and checks. This is directly related to security. Here we have only 16%. What perspective is with LLC ‘SKM Energoservis’? What is with the signing of heat starting act? Study the issues and report on them,” Yuri Alpatov addressed head of the department of housing of Penza.

In his turn, Pavel Aleksandrov explained that they are currently discussing the creation of a unified energy company.

“The project is being implemented. Organizations are assessing their property. By August 28, the process should be complete. Two participants of the project — the city and ‘TGC-6’ — are positive, but ‘SKM Energoservis’ casts doubt on all these questions. Currently, the procedure of bankruptcy is carried out. Nevertheless, the company is preparing for the heating season using the funding that is available,” he assured.
