Penza, 18 August 2014. PenzaNews. Traffic police officers of the Penza region have calculated the results of the “Drunk driver” operation held on August 15-17.

According to the group of propaganda of traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region, 141 drivers, 47 of them in Penza, were arrested for driving while intoxicated.

“12 drivers were driving drunk without a driver’s license,” the traffic police said.

The ministry added that the police officers stopped the vehicles in order to identify drivers with the signs of alcohol intoxication with further medical examination.
