Penza, 18 August 2014. PenzaNews. Penza police officers have calculated the results of the preventive campaign “Pedestrian,” which helped register 86 road traffic offences committed by pedestrians.

As the group of propaganda of traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region told news agency “PenzaNews,” road traffic safety officers fined 15 drivers who did not give way to pedestrians.

“The main goal of the event was to prevent and rectify traffic law violations. Alongside this, traffic police officers carried out daily preventive work using speakerphones, explaining traffic laws to the pedestrians,” the department noted.
