As head of Zarechny administration press service Vladimir Kshumanev told news agency “PenzaNews,” the containers are located on Zelyonaya Street 10, Bratskaya Street 20, and 30-letiya Pobedy Avenue.

“At each site, three 3 cubic meter containers were installed, one for waste paper, plastics and MSW each, along with a 1.3 cubic meter container for glass,” the agency interlocutor said.

According to him, additional food waste containers would be installed after the improvement works — laying curbs and paving stones — is complete at each site.

“The program for deep collection selective waste container installation for selective waste collection began in 2011. A total of 26 deep collection containers and 17 euro-containers have been placed since then. In 2014, three more containers of the same type will be installed on Mira Street 70, Lenina Street 47 and Molodezhny drive 3,” Vladimir Kshumanev said.
