According to him, the inspection revealed the absence of reliable information for consumers on the services provided which would ensure the correctness of their choice.
“Beyond that, there is evidence of sales take-out / pick-up, packed in consumer packaging with no information for the consumer,” the agency interlocutor said.
Mikhail Perekusikhin added that Rospotrebnadzor found out that McDonald’s broke its food production control routines, and found coliform bacteria in food samples.
“The portion weight of the finished product does not meet the requirements of normative-technical documentation. There is consumer fraud concerning the energy value of the product,” the head of the department noted.
He said that the department filed 10 protocols and rejected three batches of products with a total weight of 38 kg.
“We will issue the requirements to McDonald’s administration, and then re-inspect the enterprises,” Mikhail Perekusikhin said.
He stressed that there are currently no reasons to cease the activity of the restaurants in Penza.
“We found no reasons to close the restaurants as their activity does not threaten the lives and health of consumers,” the agency interlocutor informed.
