Penza, 3 September 2014. PenzaNews. Up to 100 journalists are expected to take part in the third annual festival “We are from Penza,” which will be held in Lermontov regional library next Friday, September 5.

It is expected that members of print and Internet media, as well as the representatives of regional channels will discuss the most pressing professional issues, share their experiences and knowledge.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:30.

After that the participants will gather for master classes.

One of them — “Interview: behind the scene” — will be held by well-known journalist Svetlana Sorokina. In addition, the secretary of the Russian Union of Journalists (RUJ) Vladimir Kasyutin will tell about the coverage of the state national policy and inter-ethnic relations in the media. There will also be a master class by RUJ secretary Roman Serebryany on “The Internet and traditional media: today and tomorrow.”

In addition to the main program of the event, the participants will also be able to visit other major regional festival — “Labor Valor of the Penza region. Strong traditions — secure future.” It will be held in concert hall “Penza,” the press service of the regional government informed.
