The ceremony of honoring the best regional media workers was held at the Penza regional court on the International Day of Journalists’ Solidarity, September 8. Welcoming the participants, Andrei Ryzhenkov, deputy chairman of the Penza regional court, said the journalists and the law system representatives need to cooperate with each other.

“Using the terms that define our work is fairly difficult. The journalists who do not shun contacting us for clarifying certain issues show they are competent. This is very important, as people’s unbiased understanding of the work done by the courts often depends on it,” he stressed.

During the event, the authorities honored the work of several Penza region media representatives, as well as regional court press officers.

Maxim Kostyushin, press photographer of news agency “PenzaNews,” was awarded a letter of gratitude from the Penza regional court and the court administration department in the region for his high level of professionalism, skills, brightness and fullness of his photo-reviews, originality, credibility and convincingness.

Special tribute was paid to Maxim Kostyushin’s photo-review of the opening ceremony of the new Leninsky district court building. These photos were included in the 22th edition of the collection “Law authorities in the Penza region.”
