40 more Penza region schools receive robotics equipment

Penza, 9 September 2014. PenzaNews. 40 schools of the Penza region will receive robotics hardware equipment, said Svetlana Kopeshkina, minister of education in the region.

According to her, such equipment is already in use in 60 regional schools.

“These educational institutions can become resource centers for basic training in robotics — not only for the students of these particular schools, but also for the students of the surrounding ones,” the minister explained.

As the press service of the regional government told news agency “PenzaNews,” according to the state program for the development of education in the Penza region, 25 million rubles will be allocated for equipping the educational organizations with modern inventory in 2015-2016.
