Penza, 25 September 2014. PenzaNews. A group of 88 Muslim pilgrims from the Penza region set off to Mecca.

As the press service of Muslim Spiritual Board (MSB) in the region told news agency “PenzaNews,” the pilgrims are traveling under the supervision of the leader of the group Imam-mukhtasib of Gorodischensky area Rifat Abuzyarov, Imam-khatib of Penza mosque Yusef Kuryev, imam-mukhtasib of Sosnovoborsky area Rushan Sayganov and doctor Ravil Bibarsov.

“Before the departure, the gathered were addressed by the chairman of Penza region MSB Mufti Islyam Dashkin. He gave the welcoming words from the leader of the Russian Muslims Ravil Gaynutdin, wished a quiet journey, the Hajj and a safe return to their homes,” the press service added.
