Anna Antonenko, a resident of micro-district Sputnik, who became the 25-thousandth subscriber of “Interactive TV,” was invited to the event dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Rostelecom, held in the customer service center in Kirov Street in Penza on Thursday, September 25.

Anna Antonenko subscribed for three services based on “fiber to the building” technology at once — SIP-telephony, “Home Internet” and “Interactive TV.”

According to her, she has recently moved, and the decision to subscribe to Rostelecom was adopted by the family council almost immediately.

“The package of three services was more favorable than purchasing them separately. We were particularly pleased with “Interactive TV” and many additional services, such as deferred viewing. Now I can watch my favorite TV shows at a convenient time,” the customer said.

As director of Penza branch of OJSC Rostelecom Lev Dyatlov noted, the Company Day was special this year.

“We congratulate you as a 25-thousandth subscriber of our popular service — “Interactive TV.” I am very glad that this event takes place not only on the day of your birth, but also the birthday of Rostelecom. Magic of numbers is probably not accidental. On 25 September 1881 there was made the first step towards telephony in our country — on the order of Emperor Alexander III, they approved the basic conditions of urban structure and operation of telephone communications,” he said.

Lev Dyatlov presented the anniversary subscriber with a commemorative gift and client certificate for viewing 10 free films with “Video rental” service.

“The strategic objective of the company is increasing technological advantages and developing content-based products. Content is what interests the user. Rostelecom, in response to customers’ requests and using new technologies, has been a pioneer in the development of interactive television based on its own fiber-optic network,” the director of Penza branch said during the event.

On the Company Day “a wish tree” was set in the service center of Rostelecom.

The first customer to attach a sheet of paper was Anna Antonenko, who wished more clients and new services.
