As a part of the master class on “Specifics of work with information,” the students were presented with extensive data on the activities of news agencies and the main sources of information.
In addition, during the practical part future journalists tried to apply their knowledge in writing headlines and information messages.
“In my opinion, the main advantage of such events is not so much an opportunity on our part — experienced journalists — to teach our future colleagues, but mainly the desire of each of the parties to meet, look in the eyes of each other, talk about work fields. And for students, of course, this is also an opportunity to finally decide on their future field of activity or ensure once again that they chose the right direction,” the executive producer of PenzaNews said.
In addition, television, radio and press journalists performed master classes during the scientific-practical conference.
Following the event, the dean of History and Philology of Belinsky Pedagogical Institute of PSU, doctor of historical sciences professor Oleg Yagov thanked all of them.
