Heating systems have been successfully activated in 1,560 houses, or more than 52% of the city’s housing fund, as of 8.00 AM of Monday, October 6. “Heating systems have also been activated in 59 schools, 84 kindergartens and 5 supplementary education institutions – overall in around 80% of the city’s education institutions,” the city hall press office reported to PenzaNews agency.

The administration representatives also added that heating systems have been activated in 54% of culture-related objects, 34% medical facilities and 53% sport and social services buildings.

“Activating the heating systems is a difficult process that involves supplying the heating agent to the end users slowly in order to prevent the accidents. Therefore, we spread the process over the span of several days,” the mayor’s office representative explained.

The press service spokesperson also reminded that all the heating systems are planned to be active as of Monday, October 13.
