Penza, 9 October 2014. PenzaNews. As of the morning of Thursday, October 9, central heating has been activated in 97% of the residential houses in Penza.

“Moreover, heating was activated in 99% education facilities, 98% medical buildings, 94% sports institutions, 93% social facilities, and all culture-related objects,” the regional administration press office informed PenzaNews agency.

The mayor’s hall representative added that 58 boiler stations and all 138 central heating stations (CHS) are currently active in Penza city.

“It is important to note that if your flat has no heating, you should address your concerns to your property management company or housing cooperative that maintain the apartment building. The boiler stations and central heating stations do not discriminate in supplying heating agent to the end users, so if your neighbors’ flats are heated and yours isn’t, the problem lies within the building,” the administration explained.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, this year’s heating season in Penza began on Friday, October 3. The first buildings to receive heating were social facilities, such as hospitals, kindergartens and schools.

The officials plan to turn on the heating in all Penza buildings by October 13.
