Penza, 9 October 2014. PenzaNews. Employment levels in the Penza region reached 79,4% of the citizens who applied to the regional employment bureau for work throughout the first nine months of 2014.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor told PenzaNews agency, the employment bureau offered employment assistance to 19.6 thousand citizens of the region: 11.7 thousand of them were unemployed, and 7.9 thousand were teenagers looking for part-time jobs after school.

“14.1 thousand job vacancies were registered in the regional job bank,” the ministry representative remarked.

The press service spokesperson also added that 5.5 thousand unemployed citizens have been registered in the regional employment bureau as of October 1, 2014.

“The registered unemployment level amounts at 0.8% of the regional work force,” said the ministry representative.
