“I propose to discuss this: to name the square between the Philharmonic and MCH [movie and concert hall] ‘the square of 200th anniversary of M. Lermontov’ — as a gift to the great poet from the Penza residents,” head of the region twitted on Thursday afternoon, October 9.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the choice of name for the new square built in Penza as part of the prepartations for the 350th anniversary of the city widely celebrated in 2013 provoked a vivid discussion in the community.
