Penza, 13 October 2014. PenzaNews. Over 1,300 children have been born in the families with three or more kids in the Penza region during the first nine months of 2014.

“This is 76 children more than in the first nine months of 2013,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor told PenzaNews agency.

The ministry representative noted that 2,591 people are receiving the monthly allowance for the birth of a third or subsequent child until he or she becomes 3 years old. The allowance of 6,114 rubles is provided for by the presidential decree No. 606 of May 7, 2012 “On Russian Federation population policy implementation measures.”

“A total of 127.2 mln rubles were used for the allowance program during the first nine months of 2014; 88.4 mln rubles out of the aforementioned amount is assigned from the federal budget,” the press service interlocutor said.

The ministry representative added that 3,067 children were born in the families with many children in the region since January 2013.
