Penza, 14 October 2014. PenzaNews. PenzaNews agency has been recognized the best Internet project at the end of the regional stage of the 6th All-Russian “Constellation of courage” safety and rescue festival in the Penza region.

During a solemn ceremony held in Penza on Tuesday, October 14, Sergei Kozlov, Major General of internal service, head of the regional EMERCOM department, awarded Ivan Malikov, head of PenzaNews agency, a diploma of the winner and presented him a star, the symbol of EMERCOM.

The officials also commended the performance of “Penza,” “Nash Dom” and “Express” broadcasting companies, along with the Internet TV channel “TV-Penza,” in the category “Best TV project” at the end of the regional festival stage.

Radio station “Echo of Penza” received an award in the nomination “Best radio news station,” and “Molodoy Leninets” newspaper was commended for the best print media material.

“Professionals put down the fires, save, eliminate, prevent, and journalists are our closest assistants: they show and tell about it all. If even only a handful of few people out of the huge audience feel the pain, see the disaster that may spark out of careless handling of fire, that we tell about with the help of the media, this is very good,” Sergei Kozlov noted.

During the ceremony they also honored the best of the regional department of EMERCOM based on the professional activities in 2014.

Festival “Constellation of courage” is the largest-scale project of the EMERCOM of Russia. The motto of the event is “Our choice — life without danger!”

The judges select the winners from all over the country: the selection process is divided into three stages.

The final ceremony of the 2014 festival will take place in the EMERCOM Fire Service Academy on December 4.
