The workers began installing the central New Year Tree on Fontannaya Square in Penza. Representatives of MUP “Zelenoye khozyaystvo” have already assembled the lower tier of the structure. According to them, warm, dry weather that has set in the city contributes to the work process. Currently it is +4...+6 C during the day in Penza, and the snow has melted completely.

The exact date of the New Year Tree decoration on Fontannaya Square is still unknown.

It is possible that in the absence of snow, MUP “Zelenoye khozyaystvo” workers will first perform the installation of all four tree carcasses which are planned to be put up on city streets this year, and then begin decorating.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the installation of a New Year Tree on Fontannaya Square in 2013 began on November 27 amidst wet and humid weather, and the work in 2011 began on November 17 when the streets had already been covered with snow.
