Penza, 13 November 2014. PenzaNews. The solemn event dedicated to the recruitment of new Russian Army Forces conscripts took place by the regional assembly place in Penza on Thursday, November 13. Over 80 new soldiers took part in the event, 15 of them departing to the Presidential Regiment. They were addressed by notable authorities and social workers.

Sergei Pulikovsky, deputy chairman of the regional government, said this event associated with the All-Russian Army Conscript Day will be remembered by the soon-to-be-soldiers for many years.

“Trust me: you will remember it every year for all your life, regardless of army force to which the Motherland will send you,” he addressed the young men.

The deputy chairman of the regional government wished them to bear the difficulties of army service with fortitude.

Moreover, Elena Rogova, ombudsman of the Penza region, reminded them about the so-called “conscripts’ handbooks” with useful information and necessary contacts given to each of them.

“We will protect your rights and freedoms if anyone violates them,” she stressed.
