Penza, 17 November 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev stressed the importance of building a hospice residence for people with irremediable diseases.

According to him, this will allow the ill patients to receive expert medical, social and psychological aid.

“We must solve several questions related to offering qualified medical aid to people with incurable diseases. We must realized that their relatives are unable to provide for it, and expertise is needed for caring after such patients. The region must review and research the project of a hospice residence in the nearest future,” said the head of the region during a working session of the Penza region government on Monday, November 17.

Vasily Bochkarev added that a hospice residence may be created in a joint effort of the government and private entrepreneurs.

“The Ministry of Labor and Social Security must conduct a research and test all possible choices that would make the project successful. We must engage the businesses as well,” the press service of the Penza region government quotes the governor.
