The sentence to the famous Russian businessman, chairman of the regional branch of “Opora Rossii” Oleg Totsky for killing another person in a traffic accident came into force on Wednesday, November 19. The court ordered him to spend 2 years in a penal settlement.

According to the PenzaNews journalist present in the Penza regional court hall, the offender’s appeal on several points of the sentence was granted partially, but term duration was not changed.

According to the press secretary of the regional court Natalya Bychenkova, the declaration of the court statement will be ready in three days.

“He will have to arrive to the settlement personally. The penal inspection will say when,” explained the agency interlocutor.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, Oleg Totsky’s car collided with a Suzuki-250 motorcycle when the former was passing through a road turn in his Lincoln-brand car on prospekt Pobedy in Penza city in the evening of September 14, 2012. The motorcycle driver born in 1991 died on the scene, while his passenger was hospitalized with assorted injuries.
