One-of-a-kind museum train arrived to Penza

Penza, 21 November 2014. PenzaNews. A one-of-a-kind train constructed as a museum and lecture complex of JSC “Russian Railroads” arrived to Penza-1 train station on Friday, November 21.

Visitors will be able to see the exhibitions in eight carriages, each with its own theme: “Innovations of JSC ‘Russian Railroads’,” “Active stock of Russian Railroads,” “Railroad infrastructure,” “Energy saving and ecology measures,” “Autonomous services, RC mechanisms and communication: transportation control,” “Nanotechnologies by JSC ‘Rosnano’,” “Youth and HR policies of JSC ‘Russian Railroads’: Training sets,” and “Lectures and boards.”
This year’s exhibition features a new set of a modern two-story passenger train carriage that may soon appear on Kuybyshevskaya railroad.
The high-technology train also features proper sets of “Panoramic view of military railroad missile launch complex,” “Baikonur railroad complex,” and moving miniatures of high-speed trains “Lastochka” and “Allegro.”
Visitors will also be able to see themselves as train mechanics and drivers and control a “Deziro” mock set or a “KamAZ” truck.
The museum train will stay in Penza until the evening of Saturday, November 22.
