Penza, 28 November 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev received a cup and a certificate that proves the new national record in the category “Largest bread loaf in Russia.”

As the press service of the regional government informed PenzaNews agency, the document was signed by Oleg Goryunov, chairman of the Russian worldwide record committee, president of “Interstrong” international record-breakers club.

The six-tier bread loaf of 413.694 kg, 150 cm in diameter and 133 cm high, was presented in the “Penza” cinema and concert hall on November 21, 2014.

It was made of 300 kg of flour, 50 kg of sugar, 10 kg of raisins, 300 eggs, 40 kg of margarine, 8 kg of yeast, 70 liters of milk, 2 kg of salt, 10 liters of oil, 1 kg of baking powder and 500 g of vanilla. The agricultural production and distribution cooperative “Khleb” spent 8 days to bake it.
