Those who donated blood for the first time, and regular donors gathered at the Regional Blood Transfusion Mobile Center.

The Major General Sergei Kozlov, head of the internal service, was the first to donate blood to be an example to his subordinates.

As the press service of EMERCOM in the Penza region informed PenzaNews agency, all the action participants are exempt from duty on the day of blood donation.

“The donation is not just a medical procedure. This is the easiest way to save someone’s life,” the department noted.
