20 thousand fir trees from abandoned farmlands cut down for New Year in Penza region

Penza, 4 December 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza region has prepared 20,000 fir trees that grew on abandoned farm lands.

According to specialists, this choice of trees for the New Year celebration has its benefits, since it involves clearing up the area.

It was made sure that only trees of no less than 5-6 years were cut.

According to the press service of the regional government, the officials plan to ship the trees before the New Year celebration both to local customers and Moscow and southern regions, including Krasnodarsky Krai and the Rostov region.
