Penza, 9 December 2014. PenzaNews. Three non-profit organizations operating in the Penza region were among the winners of the third competition for presidential grants in 2014.

The Regional fund of scientific and technical cooperation will receive 1 million 100 thousand rubles for implementing “Green Wave 2.0, ”a regional project on environmental protection and development of ecological culture.

A grant of 1,450,400 rubles will be allocated to support the charitable foundation for hockey support and development from Kuznetsk for the social initiative “Be Healthy – Sursky Krai.”

Furthermore, 1,553,880 rubles will be directed to the regional public organization of social support and protection of citizens “Surskaya family.” It is expected that the funds will be spent on a project for the development of social supervision and monitoring of the public social services' quality through the work of municipal and regional discussion forums “Family and government — open dialogue.”

Earlier, four other regional NGOs became the winners of two competitions for presidential grants organized in 2014. As the press service of the regional government informs, they received over 3,4 million rubles for their projects.
