Penza city gathered presents for children in Donetsk and Lugansk regions
Penza, 10 December 2014. PenzaNews. The charity workers have completed their humanitarian aid campaign aimed to collect donated New Year presents for the children in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. It was organized by the head EMERCOM department of the Penza region as part of the humanitarian aid program to help those who are suffering during the Ukrainian military conflict.
“We are preparing the goods to be shipped to Samara where it will be delivered to its destination points via trucks,” Anna Shupilova, head of information and public relations division of the main EMERCOM department in the region, told PenzaNews agency, mentioning that most of the goods are sweets, usually Penza-made.
“Over 7 thousand New Year presents were collected: more than 1,400 kilograms of sweets, and several plush toys,” said the agency interlocutor.
