Second educational Christmas reading session opened in Penza

Penza, 12 December 2014. PenzaNews. The second regional Christmas reading session “Prince Vladimir. Civilization choice of Russia” started in Penza on Friday, December 12.

The opening ceremony was held in the Assumption Cathedral, with a training session on Orthodox pedagogy held by Dr. Tatiana Sklyarova, PhD Ed., dean of the pedagogical faculty of Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University.
The expert spoke about the techniques used in Russia and abroad, as well as on contemporary experience of the university.
In total, the readings will be held in 10 sections in various institutions, such as the theological seminary, the youth center, the veteran center, the Penza State Agricultural Academy, the teaching and artillery institute, and the Penza State University of Architecture and Construction.
The closing ceremony will be held in the Lermontov regional library on Wednesday, December 17, where the organizers will summarize the results of the event and adopt a special resolution in a plenary meeting.
The plenary session will be concluded by a performance of the Cathedral Choir of the Saratov diocese.
