Penza, 15 December 2014. PenzaNews. The new cathedral mosque under construction on Pobedy prospekt in Penza will be connected to the main pipelines of the region by spring 2015, said the members of the charity fund of Tatar cultural heritage development “Siyanie” after a board meeting.

The discussion was also dedicated to such issues as evaluating the construction process, choosing the materials for exterior works, and drafting the expense list for the nearest future.

The members of the supervisory board and the government board plan to take up on crowdfunding the exterior works after the pipeline connection task is complete.

“Those present at the meeting regretfully concluded that some members of the boards were absent at the meeting, and some were lax in keeping their promises to provide funds for construction. Due to this, the members have decided to hold the next meeting together with the governor Vasily Bochkarev, who is the chairman of the ‘Siyanie’ supervisory board,” the press service of the fund informed PenzaNews agency.
