Penza 7th in all-Russian SME activity rating

Penza, 16 December 2014. PenzaNews. Penza city took the seventh place in the all-Russian rating on SME activity.

The results of the research of the Social Science faculty at the Financial University for the Russian Federation Government were published by the information and analytics agency “Humanitary technologies center” on Tuesday, December 16.
According to the explanatory note, the analysis was held in 35 cities with population over 500,000, and the citizens were asked questions in two areas: their individual enterprises, and intentions to create ones in the next 1-2 years.
Rostov-on-Don was first in the rating, with 15% of participants saying they have their own business and 14% said they are planning for starting work on their own.
The top 10 of the cities included Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Orenburg, Penza, Kazan, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen.
10% of Penza voters said they own a business, and 13% plan to open their own enterprise in the nearest future.
