Penza, 17 December 2014. PenzaNews. The prosecutor’s office demanded to set up a two-meal program in the canteens of the schools in Bulychevo, Kamenny Brod, Uvarovo and Issa villages of the Penza region.

“The investigation found that school students were denied two meals a day, while the education plans require students of classes 1 to 11 to come from Monday to Saturday. Lack of fresh meals may have negative impact on their health,” the senior media assistant attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova told “Penzanews” agency.

According to her, the prosecutor’s office addressed the court to compel schools to arrange for breakfasts and dinners for students with no more than 180-240 minutes between each.

“The request is being reviewed,” explained the interviewee.
