Penza to host regional science robotics festival

Penza, 24 December 2014. PenzaNews. A regional science robotics festival for school, college and university students, as well as robotics teachers and tutors, will be hosted in Penza city on January 10-11.
According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Education, the festival will feature an exhibition section, workshops for school robotics teachers, international- and federal-level qualifying competitions.
The robotics development campaign has been active in the Penza region since 2011 and involves over 60 schools, colleges and universities.
The campaign helped host three regional robotics championships that engaged over 300 teams. Moreover, it helped the Penza region team win five awards during the RoboFest-NN 2013 regional festival.
79 more educational institutions have received science robotics sets in December 2014.
