Penza, 26 December 2014. PenzaNews. The first showing of the film “Heroes By You” about the soldiers of the Afghan War made by the students of the city multidisciplinary college took place in the presentation hall of the Penza State University on Thursday, December 25.

The event was attended by the war veterans depicted in the film, their army fellows, and students of the college from “Future Lawyer” club.

“The film was made because of the students, and college authorities and the director Vladimir Feoktistov helped them as much as they could. In the film the war participants told them about their tough duty in the conflict and about their army fellows,” the PSU press service told PenzaNews agency.

The film “Heroes By You” aims to become a part of a series dedicated to Penza soldiers in heated conflicts in areas such as Chechnya, Tajikistan, South Ossetia, Georgia and Abkhazia.

The students plan to make a new movie about the World War II veterans for the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day.
