Minister: all large Penza region schools have everything for robotics studies

All large schools of the Penza region have everything necessary for including robotics studies in their regular and extracurricular timetable, said the Minister of Education of the Penza Region Svetlana Kopeshkina during the final 2014 press conference on Friday, December 26.
“Practically a few days ago 79 more schools received the final tier of robotics equipment on ofer 15 million rubles, adding that to 60 schools and five extracurricular education institutions. 142 teachers were taught how to make interesting things with their students using the equipment this December,” Svetlana Kopeshkina explained.
According to her, the Olimpiysky sports palace will host a regional robotics festival on January 10-11.
“These two days will include workshops, project presentations and discussion platforms for school, college and university students and teachers,” the minister said.
