Penza, 4 January 2015. PenzaNews. The students of the Penza seminary has committed a pilgrimage to the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo monastery.

Early on Saturday, January 3, they were able to attend the communion service in the Kazan cathedral, touch the relics of Seraphim of Sarov, a famed miracle worker, and walk along the holy groove in the floor, which, according to the words of the holy elder, is daily graced by feet of Madonna during a survey of her domain.

The Penza seminary students were gladly met in the monastery canteen where they attracted unwanted attention by they prayers. Simple, but particularly tasteful food of the monastery, along with good will of those who fed them, left a warm impression in their memories with a wish to once again return there in the future.

At the end of their pilgrimage, seminary students visited the holy spring of St. Seraphim in Tsyganovka village. Tidy wooden buildings covered with fresh snow, and clear calm waters of the spring joined together into peaceful and wonderful image.

According to the message published on the website of the Penza seminary, a dive in the cold holy waters concluded the short, but beneficial trip that helped the students get in touch with one of the most spiritual places of Russia.
