Penza, 5 January 2015. PenzaNews. The regional Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Demographics has drawn up the results of employment bureau activities in 2014.

According to published date, last year saw unemployment bureau registration numbers reduce by 1,336 persons. By the end of December, a total of 5,457 job-seekers, or 0.77% of economically active population of the Penza region, submitted their requests to find jobs.

3 thousand job-seekers took part in paid urban improvement programs, and 1,500 men and women began professional education courses. 19.3 thousand persons have been receiving unemployment subsidies.

Regional companies published 11.9 thousand vacancies in 2014, which was 2.2 times higher than the numbers of available applicants.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor, the employment bureau of the Penza region helped over 29 thousand persons get employed in regional companies throughout 2014, which lifted employment level to 80% of all applicant numbers.
