“Kuznetsk” missile boat celebrated 28 years in service

Kuznetsk, 7 January 2015. PenzaNews. The “Kuznetsk” missle boat has celebrated 28 years of military service in the Baltic fleet on Tuesday, January 6.

Sergey Zlatogorsky, head of Kuznetsk town administration, has congratulated the crew of the boat.

“Wish you sound health, new successes in service. Hope for future cooperation, improved relations. Glory to Baltic sailors!” the press service of the town administration quotes his telegram.

“Kuznetsk” 12411t “R-129” missile boat, designed for eliminating opposing battleships, transports and infantry deployment boats, has established cooperative relations with Kuznetsk town residents and given its current name on February 15, 2013, under the orders of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Victor Chirkov.
